AP Credit (Warren)

I already passed Cal AB with a 4 and Eng Lang/Comp with a 3. I'm in warren and planning to be an engineering major.

I might be mistaken, but passing Statistics with a 3+ will satisfy my Formal Skills requirement and I'm expecting a 5 on Microeconomics (which is believe will give me 1 area study). However, will passing English Literature/Comp help me in any way possible? Their site says it can only skip the placement test while earning 8 units. Apparently 8 units is max i can earn in English, which i already obtained. Does passing have any effect on me?

Passing both calc AB and Stats will satisfy your formal skills. Econ shouldn’t give you anything for your area studies. And no, passing English doesn’t do anything besides giving you 8 units and letting you skip the placement test.

Oh, okay thanks. Just double checking, but passing Microeconomics will give me “1 course toward Economics or Perspectives of Social Science PofC” correct?

^Well since you’re an engineering major you don’t have PofCs (you have area studies) and economics doesn’t count for an area study.
