Questions About Rutgers University

This whole college deal confuses me..

First off,
I know there are 4 campuses in Rutgers University. Which ones are the best ones, and why exactly is Livingston considered bad?

Second, whats the difference between NB, Camden, and Newark campuses.

Any help would be gladly appreciated. :)

Typically with large universities having more than one campus, you have the main campus and satellites that are set up for the convenience of students who for various reasons can’t attend the main campus. The satellite campuses typically serve more non-traditional, part-time, and commuter students and typically have less to work with in resources and facilities. These are generalities, so they may not be true in all cases.

New Brunswick/Piscataway is the main campus. In Rutgers’ case, other public universities in Camden and Newark were absorbed into Rutgers some years ago and renamed.
