Questions about the Common App

<p>Okay I'm really confused... so I have a few questions:</p>

<ol>
<li><p>Is there a particular order that I have to send stuff? (like, will they accept my SAT scores before I submit the application?) </p></li>
<li><p>How do I include my SAT scores in the application, and how do I know if I sent them the scores or not?</p></li>
<li><p>Can I submit the application before the teacher/counselor submits the recommendation letter? Or do I have to submit it after I complete EVERYTHING?</p></li>
<li><p>The application deadline for two of my colleges is 11/1 but my counselor hasn't completed the recommendation. Am I supposed to contact him?</p></li>
</ol>

<p>I wasn't thinking about applying to college but now I am, so it's pretty last minute and I'm getting really nervous. I need a LOT of help. Thanks in advance!</p>

<li><p>You can submit things in various orders, as the school allows. Some may ask for payment first, some won’t let you pay until after one part of the application is submitted. You can send test scores first though.</p></li>
<li><p>On the common app, there is a block for you to report your test scores. You must also send an official score report to those colleges. You may do so online.</p></li>
<li><p>You can submit the application before your teacher turns in their letter.</p></li>
<li><p>I might check with your counselor to see if he’s aware that you’re applying on 11/1. If you’ve been in contact with him often, maybe just send him a quick email, confirming that you’re still going to go ahead with the ED/EA.</p></li>
