Questions about transferring

<p>Hey everyone, I only have a couple of quick questions about transferring for winter 2015. My app is getting sent in tomorrow but I had some questions about how UofM will calculate my GPA. I am applying to the COE for CS and a physics class has brought down my "transfer" GPA considerably. </p>

<p>Does UofM use my cumulative GPA from my transcript or do they recalculate from just my transferable credits?</p>

<p>Also, If they recalculate, do they include the +(plus) and -(minus) on the grades or do they go by a straight 4.0, 3.0, etc</p>

<p>Any help would be appreciated.</p>

<p>don’t know about whether or not they recalculate ur gpa based on the plus and minus on the grades, but I think what matters to them most is the transfer GPA, meaning not the transferable credits, but your GPA in the classes required for admission.</p>
