So my grades were not as good as I wanted for my freshman and sophmore year in high school due to laziness and procrastination (3.68/4.0 GPA, rank 133/550). However, I got my **** together junior year and managed to get high As in all my classes (including APs), bringing my overall GPA up to 3.8/4, and also bringing my rank up to the top 10 percentile. How would this compare with someone also in top 10 percentile, but with no upward trend? Along with an adequate SAT score (2200+), how would my chances look towards more selective colleges?
