Is it better to get a B or W and get an A?
I'm a cal/ucla/ucsb hopeful for fall 2010. I'm currently taking 12 units(4 classes) at a private university in southern california and 8 units (2 classes) at a ccc. The rest of my grades will definitely be As if I drop my time consuming calculus class at ccc. However I already have 2 Ws on my transcript. Suggestions?

I would take the B, personally.

A B is a B is a B is a B, not a big deal.

That’s just my opinion. I mean, don’t get too many of them, but in my view, they’re better than Ws. (especially when you already have two)

Nothing wrong with a B

You don’t want more than 2-3 Ws (not good for grad school also)
Don’t take any Ws unless you’re gonna get a C or lower

if you already have 2 W’s…I say take the B no question-

that’s bs…
W’s don’t matter…

W’s don’t matter…but too many makes you look flaky. I don’t think three is too many, but it may be on the verge of pushing it.
