Questions for Business/Finance Current Students

So I want to take a business, finance, or accounting class next semester for 2 or 4 units that is an introduction to personal finance (balancing a checkbook, investing, etc) for non-majors. Does such a thing exist?

What about these classes:
BUAD 215x
BUAD250a/b
FBE400x

And random question: Could I safely take a class like this pass/fail as it is not within my major?

Thanks!

Lonefreckle,
I do not know much about BUAD 215x or FBE 400x, but BUAD 250a/b would not be good classes to take if you want to learn personal finance. Those classes are about Financial accounting and managerial acconting. Financial accounting does teach you how to read financial statements which might be beneficial, but the class goes more in depth and probably teaches more than you would want to learn.
