Questions pls about freshman campus housing: when, how, which one, etc.

<p>I've read about this on-line already but still have some questions.</p>

<ol>
<li><p>If the chance is very high that you will attend Pomona, when do you start applying for housing? Now or wait until you've made official commitment?</p></li>
<li><p>Do you get to choose the dorm or is it assigned?</p></li>
<li><p>If you are allowed to choose, any recommendation/comment with respect to the 4 freshman dorms please: Mudd-Blaisdell, Hardwood, Wig, and Lyon? Is anyone of these more desirable than others and if so why (noise, newer/larger room, air conditioned, etc.??).
Any other advice regarding campus housing also appreciated. Thanks in advance.</p></li>
