I was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge about film schools (graduate programs).

Which ones are the best?

How old is too old to try and go back to get a graduate degree in film?

Thanks in advance

USC, NYU, UCLA in that order. You can never be too old. In fact, age, assuming it parallels experience, would likely be a positive factor considering these are the nation's elite programs.

thanks for the reply...

as for age and experience, that's kind of my worry i don't have any experience in the film industry at all - im thinking about making a career shift into film... just wondering if there is a certain age where it may be too "late"

Besides those three also look at FSU

Go to The London Film School for graduate work.

I would say almost everyone who agree that NYU and USC are almost equals in graduate school. The admissions rates are crazy though. At NYU almost 1000 apply for 40 spots...
