Hi!
I was recently accepted and admitted into the Business Management Major for Fall 2014. I am also thinking of having double majors with Studio Art, specifically for the Digital Art and Photography track, as my other major. Is this a possible combination?
Also, is it possible to have double majors at the start of my first freshman semester?
If I want Studio Art as my second major, do I have to have experience and show a portfolio?
Adding Studio Art, would it affect my financial aid and scholarships?

I am also interested in the MBA Fast Track Program. Is it only available for Business majors?
If I were to get into the MBA Business program, would it affect the Studio Art major in any way?

Moreover, when is the orientation day? Was it confirmed yet?

Thanks!

You can basically double major in anything, Business and Studio Art sounds like a great combination! You should be able to declare a Studio Art Major immediately, but I would recommend that you wait until after your first semester so you are sure you would like another major instead of a minor (due to course load of double majoring, adjusting to college, etc.) Adding another major should not affect financial aid or scholarships. You do not need a portfolio to declare it.

If you were to do the MBA Fast Track program, you’re in a great position! Since a lot of the business classes for the Undergraduate Major and the MBA double over, they do not allow someone to have a business major and also be on the Fast Track. They require them to pick another major. Therefore, you would be able to be a Studio Art Major on the MBA Fast Track. The program requires application and an interview.

Orientation is usually in July or August, and dates will be on SOLAR probably around the beginning of May.
