Questions

I'm in community college and didn't go to another college. I currently have 30 credits in developmental courses and 13 college credts. I have a 4.0 with only college credits, and I have around a 3.7 with developmental credits. With all of my credits I have a 3.805 gpa. I'm currently taking 16 college credits and I want to drop Gen. Chem 1. My reason for dropping it is ok. How much will this W hurt me for schools like cornell, nyu, johns hopkins, and rutgers? I plan on applying to these schools when I've accumulated 29 college credits, and 30 developmental credits. Do I have a shot if my GPA for college credits stay the same, my overall GPA increases, and I have a W? Rate me on a scale of 1-10 for each of the schools mentioned.
Thanks,
