Okay, I'm in the process of applying, but I'm pretty nervous about my stats and I honestly have no idea what the right scope is for a transfer applicant. I am definitely going pre-nurse, but I have not yet decided which school or degree I will choose yet.

I was a nontraditional homeschool student in Highschool (meaning I have no GPA), but I had a sound academic philosophy that was basedon research and showing proficiency through writing rather than tests and grades. I had a few EC's but mostly church related stuff. My highest SAT superscore was 1790. (I have really bad test anxiety, but I think if I took it again now I could do much better.)

I currently attend a pretty decent college that has 4 year degrees, and I am a full time student with a 3.77 GPA and 42 credit hours by the end of this semester. I am on the Deans List but I have no academic honors or awards and I am not part of any campus/academic club or organization save that of a very small Bible study that does soul winning once a week.

As far as EC's go, I volunteered in the med/surg Oncology and Critical Care departments of a hospital before actually being hired to work as a Unit Secretary in the ICU, which is where nearly all of my extracurricular time is spent now. I did participate in local promotion of Cancer Prevention Study 3, as well as volunteering with ROCK (a local event for children with cancer). I also did a couple recruitment/career fair events to bring in new hospital volunteers. Currently I am involved with a local Girl Scout troop in sewing comfort kits for girls in South Sudan. And I'm not sure where this fits in, but I am also doing an open cadaver dissection which is a unique opportunity for anatomy students to (once a week this semester) participate in a supervised dissection of a human cadaver, working through the structures from head to foot.

I am worried that I don't have enough campus activities, and I am thinking of becoming a student ambassador... I'm not sure if this would help or not. Any advice at all regarding Vanderbilt transfer would be great.

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.
