<p>I'm freaking out about other places so I'm interested in finding out how I would fare in the Yale RD applicant pool...</p>

• GPA: Weighted it's a 97/100. Not sure how to convert that to a 4.0 scale.

• Other Tests: AP World History: 5, AP Calculus AB: 5, AP US History: 4</p>

• Extracurricular: Treasurer of National Honor Society (helped create/run revamped peer tutoring program), President of Classical Cultures Society (Treasurer two previous years), on executive board of State Classical Culture League, Latin Honor Society, Editor-in-Chief of literary magazine (Asst. Ed-in-Chief year prior), Witness in Mock Trial (Two years), member of anti-destructive decision group. All activities have more than two years of involvement, most are all four years. Programs over the summer: NYLF on Medicine, New York Film Academy Film Camp, Math Course.
• Awards: National Latin Exam Gold Medal (x3), Latin awards at state convention, Teamwork award for Literary magazine, First Honors every semester. </p>

<p>^ It probably got deleted because the guy made a post later on that he made it seem like a rejection when he really didn't definitely know, blah blah, that his post was misleading and basically all that he said about his "rejection" was just him jumping to conclusions. Crazy.</p>

<p>Aww, it shouldn't have gotten deleted, just locked at least. It was entertaining (at least I think so) after all.</p>

<p>^^ It certainly sits as a fine example of how the admissions processs can push even the best of us across the fine line that exists between between genius and madness. I agree with Alyaa -- it was a classic internet moment.</p>
