Quick: Do we send....?

Hi...I'm just a little confused as to where senior grades (both semesters) fit in the application process. If I were to apply early action to Princeton (Nov 1), my first semester wouldn't be over so I wouldn't be able to send any senior grades. Would they never be able to see my senior grades and courses? Also, if I were to send regular decision applications to other schools (Jan 1), my regular decision schools wouldn't be able to see my senior grades either b/c my semester ends mid January. When do my schools get to see my senior grades and courses?

Also...Is it okay to send my early action and regular decision apps at the same time in November just to get them over with? I know if would defeat the purpose of having early/regular but what benefit would I have waiting until January 1?

Hi ivymania
To answer your questions, my GC sent out my quarter grades when they were available in November. The Midterm report goes out around late January, giving the RD schools plenty of time to review them before making a decision in April. I sent all of my apps out at around the same time, including my REA school (Princeton) and RD schools. Hope this helped!

Okay so basically…
The grades and courses for senior year are sent separately by your counselor?
So it doesn’t matter when you send all the rest of your application (November) regardless of whether it is early or regular because your grades will be sent later on?

I answered your PM but yes, that is how it works.
