Quick grammer question

When comparing, can you write something like..
Caitlin runs faster than Tyrell

or does it have to be
Caitlin runs faster than Tyrell does ?

thanks

Caitlin runs faster than Tyrell does

ur contrasting actions right (running)
unless you mean quick in the mind...

It is grammatically correct to leave off the verb.

Remembering that the verb is there, though, can be helpful in understanding that "He does better than I [do]" is correct over "He does better than me [do]."
