I signed up for AP Enviromental Science, which I will be self-studying for.
However, lets say I feel i'm not ready for the exam after signing up for it, what happens?
I know i lose my money, but thats not too bad.
Will I receive a 1 on the test, because I would rather try then.
To cancel an AP Test, is it like SAT Subject Tests, where if you cancel one you must cancel all AP Tests (for that year)?

What i'm hoping is that I will be able to cancel it (w/o colleges knowing - im a junior), and still be able to take my other tests. I dont mind wasting the $84 (its worth the risk.)

Most likely, I will be taking the test, but just in case I dont I was wondering what the consequences will be.

If it's not too late, you can get all but your deposit back, which is 15 dollars.

No, you don't get a 1 on the test. If you don't take it, you'll lose your money- however, The College Board wouldn't have known that you personally didn't take the exam. It wouldn't have been scored. AP exams aren't meant for specific people- you don't get a code specifically for you. You don't have to cancel all of your tests.

Just to clarify,
- I will lose my money (im fine with that),
- The AP Exam (that I decide not to take) will not be scored.
- CB will never know that I didn't take the exam, and I can take my other AP Exams w/o canceling them.
