Quick question about "Pay your deposit"

Hey, so I can't log into the Pay your deposit thing. Does this mean that I've definitley been deferred? If so what are my chances like when they review my app with the regular decision people?
My Stats:
-average is an 89.5
- 1300/1600 on the sat
- 30 on the act

I don’t think it means you’ve definitely been deferred- they may have not gotten you in the system yet or the such. I’m not quite sure how that works, but if you ever ARE able to log in and pay your deposit, you have basically definitely gotten accepted.

It’s kinda hard to say what your chances are… Your GPA is okay, not the best but not the worst either. As for your SAT’s, Binghamton also takes a look at your writing score (starting this year) so it’s hard to determine unless you give your score out of 2400. Your ACT score is very good. But extracurriculars also play a large role as well as what kind of classes you took in high school.

pay deposist
One of my sons can log in to pay with 95 average and 29 ACT. The other son has 94 average and 1830 ACT and cannot log in. Do you thin

same here… i’m getting really nervous and upset because of the other threads :frowning:
I have a 91.2 avg and 1910/2400 SATs but I just tried logging into the deposit page and it says I’m not eligible.
I really hope I’m deferred and not rejected…
I applied to Harpur undeclared UG btw…

My D gets the message “login information incorrect” when trying to log on. Is that what everyone else’s says?

One of my friends has the same problem! She’s very upset about it!

Is she definitely logging into the correct place? There are two pay your deposit sites for Bing: one for new admits and one for current students. The latter one gives me a login error while the new admits one allows me to log in but gives me that ineligible to pay message. Here’s the correct link: https://secure.binghamton.edu/newadmit/loginform.jsp

NYmom,

No, that’s not an indication. You need to verify B# & P/W. People are confusing log in with the Pay your Deposit system.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see eligible or not…period

It gives the same message, even when I tried the link you provided. She’s been logging in with this information all along to check her status. Maybe she should call.

nymomli my daughter has the same problem your daughter does just have to be patient which i am NOT. does your daughter have a decision has been made mine dont so i call the they said everything should be done and out by the end of this week or def monday good luck

Is this “pay your deposit” log in, something that has happened in the past. I would feel much better if my son just got the letter. I wouldnt rely on this " glitch" of sorts. Has all of you that got a letter, also found you could log on to the “pay your deposit”?
Thanks

My daughter can’t log in to pay your deposit very upsetting.just To wait and see. :/
