If I were to change community colleges after I submitted my application, how would I let the UCs know? The UC site says to send a letter to each school I applied to, but can't I just e-mail them instead of wasting so much paper and stampage?

Why don't you email them first and see if that works? If not, they'll let you know that the only thing they'll accept is a formal paper and pen (or typed & printed) letter explaining your situation.

yea, you can send them an email! which ucs did u apply to? i have ucsd, sb, and la's email. UCB doesnt accept emails...

im going to post it here just in case:

sd: admissionstatus@ucsd.edu
sb: admissions@sa.ucsb.edu
la: datachng@saonet.ucla.edu

i keep getting replies similar to:
"Thank you for your email. We will update your file."
Which doesn't make sense when all I did was say I'm taking classes at a new school. I didn't even mention which school or what the classes are.
Would it be easier if just write an e-mail to all the schools I'm applying to instead of e-mailing?

its an automated message.....

Really...changing between community colleges doesn't really make a difference. Just make sure you submit all your transcripts.
