I am filling out the UC application and in the section relating to scholarships it gives you the option to check off if you were raised by a single mother/parent. I was raised by a single mother for most of my life until my mother got married when I was in 8th grade, so would it be appropriate for me to check those off?
Since up to 8th grade is most of your life at this point, I would check it off.
