Quick Question

Let's say you're applying for a scholarship. Let's say the application requires you to put the name of the college/university you are most likely attending.

But you don't go to that college.

What happens? Do you still get the scholarship for the school you end up going to?

Thanks in advance

It depends on the scholarship. For instance, I know of a scholarship through a local credit union that only applies to our IS colleges, so even though you list an IS college in the application, if you get the scholarship and choose to attend OOS, you won’t get the money. Then there are others that will follow you to whichever college you end up choosing, even if you change your mind from what you put down on the application.

Usually scholarships state their requirements, if it’s unclear, give the scholarship agency a call.
