I'm a rising junior and I just finished taking a practice test. My state requires all juniors to take the provided ACT in March, but I want to know if I should also take the ACT in the fall.

On the practice I got:
C: 31
E: 35
M: 31
R: 26
S: 32

Would it be very beneficial for me to take the test one time early to get a feel for it? Or should I just study on my own until March? I'm aiming for a 33+.

Yes!
Very beneficial. Everyone I know (myself included) has improved their score the second time they take it. You’ll be used to the format, and you’ll know what to expect. Even if you take a timed practice test, nothing could quite compare to the real test day. Being familiar with how it feels will boost your score and confidence.
Do it, it’s worth it.

Okay, thanks. I’m leaning toward registering for the September date.

Anyone else?
