Study Time?

Hey everyone thanks for giving my thread a read!

I'm taking both the ACT (Sept. 11) and SAT (Oct. 9) and I am looking to do well on them. My only problem is that I won't have a lot of study time since I am rather busy right now and I won't be able to really study for either until around August 23rd

Do you think studying for the ACT from Aug 23rd-Sept 11th will be enough prep time to get a good score?

For reference my first ACT was a 26. I was and still am going for 30 and the reason my score was so low was because I took it in not the best of health and guessed on half the reading and science section (26 was actually higher than I thought I'd get).

A side from that I have taken 2 practice ACTs before my time became limited and the average between them was a 29 (28 and a 30).

So again, do you think a prep time of only 18 days is enough for me to reach my goal? (30+)

Thanks for the insight and any tips!

Any studying is better than no studying at all :p

but i’d say don’t bother trying to “crack” the test, just practice a lot and understand the mistakes you make

^ haha so true =)

I was just planing on taking as many practice ACT’s as I could before Sept. 11th and just see how I did and then go over them.

Senior year is going to be a heck of a busy year!!

Be sure to spend time going over the answers until you understand all of them. You don’t wanna cram all your tests into a short period of time and not actually improve

True, I was thinking of taking a test every Tuesday and Thursday and reviewing them the next day as a means of study.

I can’t think of any other way to study for the ACT. Then the SAT is right after that =)
Can’t wait for college!
