Quick Question

After a certain amount of time or so many credits can you transfer from a community college Ex. John Tyler and get a automatic acceptance?
this is what i have heard..just wondering if its true?

[:

If you earn an AA from a Virginia community college, you can have guaranteed acceptance to JMU. I believe you need an overall gpa of 3.0 and you'll need to submit a letter of intent (which you can pick up at the guidance office at the community college in your area).

I would visit the webpage for the community college you're attending (if that is the case) and search for 'guaranteed acceptance program'.

Hope this helps!

thank you!!

it helped alot.

From the JMU website --

Office of Admissions - James Madison University, Transfer Admission Agreements

If you have interest in a specific major program at JMU, you should also check the department admissions website. Some departments have specific admissions requirements to declare the major or concentration.

Good Luck!
