Does Columbia accept rush reporting from Collegeboard?

They ask you not to rush report. I don't suppose there's anything they can do if you do rush report, but I imagine someone at the admissions office would be a little ticked.

college confidential won't let me post a ' quick quick reply,' so here's the lengthened version:

no.

Regular reporting is the best and won't delay anything. Columbia gets the scores electronically from CB when they're available.

Gah but I didn't write Columbia down as pre-registration. Collegeboard says regular reporting takes 3-5 weeks to send, and

just checked ... the deadline is February 15th. Wow I feel stupid.

Thanks anyways.. hahaha

is there a reason why Columbia doesn't accept rush reporting?

and where'd you find out that the SAT score report deadline is Feb 15?

I saw it on Collegeboard: here's the link

I hope it's accurate.

if they have your application and for some reason your scores are not there, they wont disregard you. they will call or email you and be very helpful in getting it cleared up

just send it the way they want it, it'll be fine.

I think the 'rush' is a scam by the collegeboard people to rake in more cash. How hard can it be to transfer information electronically? 5 weeks seems like a long time to take. BTW, I'm a parent of a college applicant, as a point of reference on my cynical attitude :-)

^ That's what I've been thinking, as well :/ Why would it even take 3-5 weeks to send in a piece of paper that they already have on file?

i agree about the scam but i did it anyway to be safe. collegeboard members are such tools.
