Quick Response Please! (How lond does it take...

<p>I am an international applicant and I have applied to IUB on 31st October. Now although I cut short for the priority deadline, i still expected to hear back from the admissions office after a few weeks. And from what i've read from other threads, it seemed to usually take 2 to 4 weeks. But I haven't heard anything back from them yet till now.</p>

<p>Is it because of the financial document that i sent in late (sent it on 17th December)?
Can i presume that they've made the decision but just holding off till they see that document? Or they simply haven't started the review of my application?</p>

<p>any international applicants or any other IUB applicants! Help needed~!!!</p>

<p>i think they said it clear that the admission office only reviews application that is complete, and by complete, it means that they have received ur transcript, SAT scores, toefl, AND financial document. im not sure if they actually start reviewing even if its NOT complete. </p>

<p>im an intl applicant. i applied on oct 16 and got in on nov 25, a bit longer than 5 wks. so be patient. and just curious, y didnt u send in ur financial doc. together in a packet when u sent ur transcripts and stuff?</p>

<p>Just that it wasn't available with me at that time. Also i was in a complete rush to send in the application to meet the deadline at the time... Just one question..</p>

<p>Does the IUB Status Check page change once the decision is out?
Mine has been saying "The application status check system is undergoing scheduled daily maintenance. Please check back in 30 minutes. " for the past 3 days~
What does that mean?</p>

<p>Hey, by the way, Winston. I think i have seen you several times before? Have you applied to Michigan or Illinois as well by any chance?</p>

<p>Early in the year it usually takes 2 to 4 weeks but later n the year it takes longer because they start getting bogged down by all the paper work, so it may take awhile, especially if you've just sent your financial document the 17th</p>

<p>So its about 4 to 6 weeks after they get a complete application. Felt like such a long time though, since I had my app done in September.</p>

<p>yea..dare7to7dream, i applied to UM (LSA) and UIUC(college of Business) and was deferred ast both...lol.
the status page changes to "congratulations, u've been admitted....."(jus one sentence) if im not wrong, u still have a pretty long paragraph telling u wat to submit and stuff.
they actually do repair their site a lot, but for 3 days?? i dont think that happened to me. i sent them an email asking bt that last time. good luck anyways.</p>

<p>hey Winston, even i have been deferred from both UM (LSA) and UIUC(college of Business) ^^ lol...
anyway good luck to you too and do you know when we'll hear back from UM again?
Have you sent them any additional materials?
I know that UIUC decision will be out on 13th Feb.
Applied to any other schools? (Just maybe, we have similar choices...)</p>
