I'm taking the SATs again this June. this will be my second time
My first time taking the test, with no practice, I got a 1750. I'm aiming for 100 points more.

Any tips, advice to help me or anyone score higher?

Ur welcome.

Check out the stickied threads on the SAT Preparation sub-forum. There’s a lot of great info that can help you increase your score more than 100 points (if you put in the time).

chd, what could she possibly do in 2 days or even a week for that matter when this 1st posted.
I don’t recommend cramming as I doubt it works. No proof either way.

Every little bit helps. Practicing a few Maths questions in last few days helps, you might get a couple of similar one’s. Going over word roots can help, you can’t cram 500 words in 5 days but you can cram 200. It is not the best way but with one week left, it doesn’t hurt to try. You can also polish up the examples you might be able to use in essays. There are about a dozen or so grammar rules one must know, work on those.
plus anyone scoring 1750 on given day can score 1850 or 1650 the very next day. Work hard for few days and make sure its 1850.

Slightly late to be asking about this… if you’ve done your work (as in, practice, memorize vocab, and practice some more) then you should be fine; focus on reviewing your vocab, practice a bit more if you feel like you need to. Good luck, I’m taking the SAT in June too :D

I’m taking mine in October, and I’ve found that using the SAT Question of The Day helps a lot; because you get used to the format of the questions (especially checking for sentence errors). Plus you learn new words And even subscribing to a poem of the day thing is good, cause you’ll pick up some more new words!
