My apologies if this has already been asked and answered but I’m new and I didn’t see this elsewhere: My daughter just committed to Yale and I’d like to book lodging for move-in days, Parents Weekend, etc. The Quinnipiac Club has generally ok reviews on TripAdvisor. It’s walking distance and less expensive than the Courtyard (where I’m staying for Bulldog days). Does anyone have advice?
It’s a private club. You have to have reciprocal rights from another club membership to book there. If you have reciprocal rights, it’s a nice place to stay. Rooms aren’t as nice as the Omni or Study (although they are fine), but it is at a much better price point.
Thanks for the information. I seem to have booked directly through the internet. I will follow up with them because I do not belong to a similar club.
Please report back if they no longer require reciprocal membership to book. Perhaps the rules have changed to boost club income.
I didn’t check directly with them but I reviewed my email confirmation and it’s pretty clear that my room has been reserved. It’s weird though – I couldn’t pull up their reservation page on my iMac, but could on my Apple laptop.
