Sup guys - my friend is narrowing down his college choices and it's come down to Quinnipiac vs Manhattan. He practically has a full ride to each and is having a tough time deciding between the two. He doesn't have a CC account so I'm asking for him - what do you guys think? I know these may be 2 lower-end schools, but overall what is better? Any opinions help. Thanks.

Have your friend check out the general education requirements at each school. Manhattan College is a Catholic college and there are some Religion class requirements. When my son was looking at Manhattan College a few years ago, they even had a community service requirement ( I don’t know if they still do).

Make sure he visits both schools before making a decision.

[The Core Curriculum - School of Arts - Manhattan College](http://www.manhattan.edu/academics/arts/core_curriculum.shtml)
^I found the link to the Core Curriculum on the Manhattan College website
Requires 3 classes of Religious Studies.

“Three courses in Religious Studies form a shared educational experience across the five schools of Manhattan College. Freshmen take RELS 110, Nature and Experience of Religion, and then have two electives, one of which focuses on religious traditions and the other of which examines religion and contemporary thought.”
