Quite a pickle...need help please!

I was accepted as a freshman to revelle as an undeclared major. I wanted to put biology but i thought it would jeopardize my chances at getting in, and i thought i could change it later. I didn't even know bio was an "impacted major." Turns out i have to REAPPLY in order to get into bio..ANY bio. And UCSD admits these major transfers based on rank. This majorly sucks because i hear revelle is the hardest college...urghhhh, so it would be very hard for me to get a high GPA than any other college.
How hard do you think it would be to transfer into a bio major like human biology or microbiology?

since the impacted biology majors only arose this year, it’s best to talk to the counselors – no student will be able to tell you from experience.

who do you mean by counselors?

the people who get paid to do such things.

Hahahahahahaha. actually laughed out loud…

There are academic counselors here in each college, similar to high school

That stinks. D is a admitted human bio major and she was going to apply undeclared but we just happened to stumble upon the notice about the biology departments new policy/impaction statement so she applied to major directly. I couldn’t even tell you where we found the info on the website. UCSD should have made it more clear before everyone applied undeclared.
