Race-Blind Admissions Committees?

<p>I'm not applying to college, but I was wondering which colleges ignore race in the admissions process - the only one I can think of is Caltech (which, incidentally, is regarded to have the strongest student body in the country).</p>

<p>I know the UC system doesn't have affirmative action, and that Michigan was supposed to get rid of it. What other schools are like this?</p>

<p>I wonder how much truth there really is to schools that claim no affirmative action, with the exception of maybe the UCs who process applications like they process papers at the dmv. But with private schools, they don't have to look at race or ethnic background to know that a last name like Martinez, Sanchez will be a minority at their school.</p>
