Mestizo (Mexicans) were seen as lazy but they are far from lazy now-a-days, they overcame that (they are a hard working people). Why can't Blacks over come crime/violence? I guess the White man just keeps putting the Black man down?

How about you quit putting an entire damn race in the same category? They are different people with different personalities, with names, and families, just like everyone else, who happen to share a similar physical attribute., not a field of damn rats for you to put your foolish theories on.
I'm sure there are many asians, blacks, hispanics, redfoxes, and middle easterns who are doing well, who are contributing to society, who don't run around killing people and blowing **** up, who are successful in life, but those people aren't fun to talk about, because they completely discredit your bigot **** theory.

I agree with racial profiling regarding airport security checks. Come on, who is more likely to hijack, a 45 year old Swedish Catholic nurse or a 23 year old Saudi man?

But a 45 year-old Swedish Catholic nurse might just as well attempt to blow up an airplane simply to teach the lesson that anyone is capable of destruction and while focusing on the "most likely" group, the real perpetrators could potentially be overlooked. It only takes one person to wreak havoc.

how can ANYONE argue in favour of racial profiling? it's just a mildly nicer word for RACISM and BIGOTRY. "hey, look! this guy's black! he MUST be a criminal!" ever heard of the benefit of the doubt? of innocent until proven guilty? rich white people are just as capable of murder as the next person, though you're less likely to hear about it since networks are owned by their friends. and you wonder why people move to the united states, hoping for a new, better life, and are hugely disappointed at what they find-corruption, racism and intolerance. it disgusts me that people who are on a forum dedicated to institutions of HIGHER LEARNING are supporting racism, prejudice and discrimination, and are heaping these things on largely undeserving people. please understand that race and personal actions do NOT necessarily dictate one another.

If a neighborhood has a history of crime, put up more patrol around that neighborhood or whatever you need to do. There are ways to target crime without depriving people of their liberties.

Behavioral profiling is ok

What if colleges found that males are more likely to drop out? Would you be ok if you're not accepted because of that?
