In short, how do I do it? I hear stuff all the time about people who raised their SAT score by 150 points in a month, but I'm not getting those results. I have the collegeboard SAT prep book with ten full length practice-tests, and I have taken four of them, but my scores have stayed stagnant for the most part. Right now I'm in the 2050 area, can I get it up to a 2200 by May 3?

What are you getting for each section? It really depends on where you’re losing your points.
Personally, I was able to raise my score 100 points in a week and a half by carrying my SAT book around with me and basically pouring every free minute into taking practice tests (all my lunches and free periods). I managed to get through probably like 10 or so SAT tests in week and a half. To be fair, my method is a bit unhealthy… Especially if you’d be going at it for a month.

I finished one literally 15 minutes ago and scored a 2070. 730 writing, 650 CR, and 690 math. My main problem is making stupid mistakes, especially on the math. I’m a junior who has a A in BC Calc, so I should be doing way better on the math. As for CR, I’m not a fast reader, so sometimes I get rushed and overlook something. Actually, the whole not-a-fast-test-taker thing applies to all the sections, so that’s where the stupid mistakes enter. If I can get rid of the stupid mistakes, I can probably raise my score to a 2200.

Whats a good tip to score higher on the ACT ???
