I’m graduating in 2017 and just like many other students, I face the dilemma - new SAT, old SAT or ACT?
Anyway, I’ve decided that the old SAT is the best fit for me and I want to take it January 23rd.
Would it be possible to raise my score from 1950 to 2300 in around 4 months? If I study for at least 6 hours in my October and December holidays? And do 1 hour of studying every school day, 4 hours of studying on the week-end?
Some students can achieve 2300 w little to no studying. And some will not raise their score appreciably no matter how hard they study. We have no way of know which kind you are.
That’s less than 3 points per day. At the one month mark, you should take a practice test to see if you are 100 points higher so you will know if you are on track or not.
Like what GMTplus7 said, some people have the aptitude to score 2300, and some people don’t. Just study your hardest and try your best. Whatever happens at least you’ll know you tried your best.
