Random exclamation points

<p>When I uploaded my common app essay an exclamation point appeared between paragraphs on the print preview. Should I call the admissions office or are the exclamation points something the colleges do not see on their version? </p>

<p>I had this same problem. I use a Mac, and originally I submitted my essay as a PDF, but the exclamation points kept showing up. Then I converted it to a .doc file, and it worked. </p>
