<p>I think Abercrombie and Hollister are highly overrated brands. They have cheap stuff that usually falls apart.
Walmart has some good stuff, too. I know, Walmart. But who really thinks a cotton tee is worth $40? Not me, that's for sure.</p>

<p>Not that I have much fashion sense, but now that I'm on my own in college, I'm trying my darndest to stay away from the polo uniform that so many people adopt.</p>

<p>Also, Derek I've heard of American Apparel. I bought a really cute outfit there last summer and we finally got one in my city. I heard the owner is a dirty womanizer, but hey nothing/nobody is perfect.</p>
<p>Hmmm....once you've been in post-secondary education for ovr 6 years you don't have much (any) money for clothes.</p>

<p>Anything from Wal-Mart, just so I can say to people "Yeah, I got this from Wal-Mart...no big deal."</p>
<p>I actually do have a pretty awesome pair of velcro shoes from there. I think they're made for senior citizens or nurses. Great conversation piece.</p>
<p>The only attire I really have a brand name love for are shoes. And there are two brands that I love: New Balance (for running and everything but work and school) and Johnston and Murphy (for everything else.)</p>
<p>I have a pair of J&M loafers that will beat up your honors kid anyday.</p>
