Should I be recognizing these? I suddenly feel ignorant.

Does anyone like the GAp 1969 collection?

Polo and Lacoste are nice too.
Abercrombie is the most form-fitting IMO
I also like French Connection UK

You're not alone. I've never laid eyes upon most of these stores let alone walked into one.

In no particular order:
1. GAP - I work there, and get a great discount. But I honestly love the clothes.
2. Target - The women's section has a great variety. Its really one-stop shopping for cute, cheap clothes, not to mention great, cheap accessories.
3. Old Navy - Same exact reason as Target. Plus, my GAP discount doesn't hurt!
4. Urban Outfitters - I basically love everything. They carry great indie designers that aren't way expensive, and the pieces spice up a basic wardrobe.
5. Banana Republic - I would buy all my clothes from here if I could. They are well made and everything fits my body perfectly.

Honorable mentions: H&M (don't have one nearby but always hit it up when I can), Anthropologie (same reason as Urban Outfitters, but not as affordable), American Eagle (great basics), The Limited (nicer, more grown-up clothes that you can wear for a long time)

Oh, I forgot Rampage! We don't have one nearby, but I really love this store because the clothes are cheap and there's a good variety.

If any of you girls are ever in Nashville, go to Abbie and Jesse's in Cool Springs. Its a great boutique owned by supermodel Nikki Taylor (or is it Tyler?) with amazing clothes, particularly jeans. They are expensive, but most of you seem like you spend a lot on clothes, so definitely go!

'Cept Berkeley doesn't have great shopping. When I'm here, I alternate between American Apparel, Wet Seal and Sway. Nice Eh...

When I'm not being lazy, I'll go to SF where the options are endless..

Urban Outfitters

Abercrombie and Fitch

Hollister

American Eagle

Oh, I try my best not to shop in Berkeley, although I'll pick up the occasional something at Bancroft Clothing if I'm in dire need of, say, a green shirt :) But yeah, I usually go to Emeryville because it has the stores that SF has but with better selection simply because there are less people to pick through the sales. Of course i'll still go to SF because it's fun and gorgeous there, and there's an H&M

There are actually college students that rock $2,000+ Chanel gowns to class? I find this a little hard to believe....Be realistic people. We're all wearing A & F..
