if you get the highest psat score in your school, will it show in your high school transcript?

I doubt it. The scores are not even supposed to be reported unless you give permission ([PSAT Scores - About PSAT/NMSQT Scoring](Understanding PSAT/NMSQT Scores - SAT Suite)). And colleges are likely to care more about your standing with all other test takers than with just those in your high school.

No. PSAT scores really don’t matter.

…but colleges will know if you’ve been awarded anything, which might play a small part in your app

I was never awarded anything, just the guidance counselor called me in and told me I got the highest PSAT score in every subject of the whole school…

and my psat wasn’t even high in my opinion… it was only 173 o_O

173 highest in the school? o_o

No offense but that’s really bad lol

I thought my school was bad because our highest was 218

Yea. It’s pretty bad. No offense taken [: .

Like most people go to state universities and last year someone got into harvard because of athletics … o_O

No, it doesn’t matter at all. Like, literally, it does not matter at all. The PSAT is for private scholarships and practice…that is all.

thank you ^
