<p>jolly: are you asking just to satisfy a curiosity or are you using this info as a serious determinant in applying/choosing which school to attend? If the latter, then know that the real differences between these is pretty marginal and that you should choose based on what meets your other needs (size of school, financial package, area of the country) rather than any perceived “prestige of Economics dept” of one school over the other. Your future employers won’t care, to be blunt.</p>
