I have been researching for some time now to find strong undergraduate science programs (in my case - earth space science).. is there a correlation between rankings in engineering schools and the sciences? I am trying to determine a ranking system of the top universities that have the strongest school of sciences... Please help thanks.

earth space science? w t f is that?

Anywho, if you want rankings, I'd go to PhDs.org and sift through the various rankings they have.

I'm not sure if there are undergrad rankings for the sciences, but in general, schools with good phd programs in X will almost always have solid undergrad programs in X.

Graduate School Rankings — PhDs.org Graduate School Guide

You may have to look at listings such as "geology" and "meteorology".

Oooo, guess what? "Earth Science" is listed at an undergrad program. Here are some colleges that have it:
Johns Hopkins, U. Michigan, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Dartmouth, Iowa, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Arizona, Minnesota and Stanford.

Who knew? Good luck with your research!
