Rasing a 1200 possible ?

it is not a joke. i actually want to raise it up to 2100-ish . my first sat was 1200 but i did not study. after a few weeks of looking thru the blue book i took a practice exam and realize i got around 1350. then i started freaking out. then i realize i dont even have enough time to study for january.Im hoping to raise my score mostly during the winter breaks two weeks off. can anyone give me a schedule to work off on for winter break? i will probably wake up around 7;45 and sleep at 10;30 i just dont know how to organize my time and thinking about that just makes me want to procrastinate.

thanks to anyone that actually cares about me ;3

You have plenty of time. Just do one practice test a day.

Its completely possible. I went up from 1270 to 2030 last October and took it again in December and expecting a 2100+ (not 2200+ because I scrood up on CR LMAO). The key is to take several practice tests while developing your SAT skills. Get prep books and begin looking at the test in a different angle. Although it took me 4 years to get my score up 800 points, I’m sure its possible if you spend enough time studying.

Nothing is impossible…but you really have less than two months just to raise it that high. Unless you work your butt off 24/7 then maybe you could increase significantly, but I doubt to a 2100+ level. It took me at least a few years to get over 2000 but this was over a long span of time. It’s best that you start studying for new sat or ACT…but if you are already a senior this might be too late. For me, your goal does seem impossible.

If you determined to work:

  1. take practice tests (use the blue book)
  2. Know why you got every problem wrong and even the ones you were unsure of (for the blue book they have answer explanations online). When you are taking the test circle the questions you were not sure of. After you are done grade yourself and then look up all the explanations. Understand why you got each wrong or why you were unsure.
  3. Finish the blue book

If you lack determination:

Sign up for an SAT course (a good one. there are a lot of terrible ones out there)
I recommend Prep Scholar (it is an online course) (NOTE: I NEVER DID THE PREPSCHOLAR COURSE, BUT I GENERALLY HEARD SOME GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT…)

Just look them up and see if you like them.

You do not have much time, so you better get started.

BTW I studied a lot and got a 500+ point increase. DO NOT LOSE HOPE.

It depends. If you are inherently smart but not good at taking tests, then it is definitely doable with hard work. I scored a 131 on the PSAT and now I am at 2170 superscored. I took 22 practice tests and learned 2k + vocabs.

i:m currently having trouble enforcing a good sat schedule because i have so much school work. idk how much i can get done in winter break. sigh.
