<p>I'm applying ED into the college of engineering.</p>

<p>GPA unweighted: 3.79
messed up soph year, straight A's 9th and 11th grade though
class rank:top 5%, 50/1067
SAT: 2070, M-750, CR-670, W-650
SAT II: math II-730, taking chem in Oct.
took all honors courses and 1 ap junior year, honors and 3 aps senior year.
extra currics: National Merit semifinalist, french honor society, about 200 volunteer hours at a local hospital, spring track (9-12), football 9, worked for a well known Korean newspaper in Philadelphia since about the beginning of 11th grade, bunch of other clubs.</p>

<p>so... how do I look?</p>

<p>I'm in a similar case like yourself and after countless hours of mom's jansori, sending e-mails to current Cornell students/graduates, and sobbing under the pillow, I have realized that there really is no 'chance' to do when 95% of the applicants have the similar grade and Phenomenal Extra curricular activities....so let's just work on the essays...and hopefully stand up for gamun's glory</p>
