tetrahedron- do u go to andover in mi???
cuz tennispro2388 and i do

duuuude a bunch of andover ppl? tennisdude, what grade are u in?

Yea i like liszt but ive never played anything by him yet. What pieces do u recommend specifically, like ones to start with?

i go to troy, like i said on the other board.

many ppl play the hungarian rhapsodies; they come in various levels.

yes im friends with luis. he's actually playing beethoven piano concerto this term with the orchestra. how do you know him?

we used to do july 4th concerts in methuen together...haven't talked to him in a LOOOONG time though. is he still amazing at the violin? and which beethoven?

he's first for second violins. we have three underclassmen concertmasters...

no.5 "Emperor"

i think he's the best pianist my age i've ever heard play

damn man, all my old places. i lived in troy from 89-95, so had i stayed THERE, i wouldve gone to troy high. from 95-00 i lived in BH, so i wouldve gone to andover. so yeah for schools that I would have gone to but did not.

tennisdude is in 10th grade

ah ok. i dont really know any juniors at AHS, just maybe some names or something

I don't know anything about your technical skills or what you're good at or what you like. I've only played two liszt pieces...and did them completely last minute (Rhapsody No.2 and Tarantella from Venezia e Napoli). Both are fun (though on the longer side) and get results. I recommend that you listen to some pieces and see what YOU like.

Ive listened to a lot of lizst pieces. I actually recently bought a cd of the hungarian rhapsodies with Cziffra playing them. I like no.2, no.6, no.8 i think it is, no.15. I also like some lizst etudes and the mephisto waltz but im not good enough to play them yet! lol What other pieces do you recommend? I want to play the rachmaninoff prelude no. 3 in b minor. Its the really fast one. I dont know how hard it is so does anyone know what to compare the difficulty of that song to?

Harvard is tired of perfect people like you. Find a passion. Do something that you enjoy doing rather than trying to compile an impressive resume or college application.

Statwise, you are great. But your lack of personality wouldn't get you into Harvard in my book.

...seriously

ZZ3

that should be fine...good luck!
