Rate My Schedule Thread

If anyone wants to post their schedule in this thread to get some feedback with regards to timing, teachers, or specific courses, feel free.

I'll start.

Macroeconomics (ECO 304K) - Hickenbottom, MWF

Calculus 2 (M 408L) - unknown teacher, not listed, MWF, TTH labs

Spies, Espionage, and Treason (UGS 302) - King, T

Intro to Geology (GEO 303) - Long, TTH, M lab

Intro to Study of Society (SOC 302) - Crosnoe, MW, F

Total credit hours: 16
Total hours in class/labs: 18 (what it actually feels like I guess)

Does anyone see any problems with my teachers or classes? I might consider dropping my geology class and only taking 13 hours since I don't want to be overwhelmed my first semester, and I do have a bit of credit heading into college from AP scores.

I'm really excited to be in Dr. Kings class. From what I've heard, he's a awesome guy who grades easily and tells fun stories. Crosnoe is also a good sociology teacher from what I've read/heard.

I'm slightly worried about Hickenbottom as his pick-a-prof reviews are less-than-flattering. And I also know that calculus at UT is horrendous, plus they didn't even assign a teacher to the class yet.

The two hour geology lab is said to be tedious and boring with tough tests afterwards.

So, if anyone with experience in any of these classes or with any of these teachers would like to comment, please do.

Mine is the same although with different teachers, a different UGS topic, and I’m taking RTF 305 instead of Geology…it’s prolly going to be tough, but I think we’ll do ok. 16 hours is nice because if one class is particularly difficult, you can always drop it without penalties by the 12th class day.
