On a scale from 1 to 10 can you tell me how impressive my schedule is?
Freshman:
1- AP US history part 1
2- Algebra 1 Honors
3- Gym/ Health
4- Latin 1
5- English 1 Honors
6- Lunch
7- Honors Chemistry (Really an AP class because we have an AP book and AP curriculum but I don’t know if Colleges would know that)
8- Geometry Honors
9- Spanish 2.
8 classes for freshman year?
Anyways… Your schedule is pretty rigorous, however, if I were you (and if possible), I would have took a mix of honors, and AP (1 or 2) and gym/health during summer. Just a suggestion.
For a freshman schedule it’s solid, IMO. I’m impressed that you have 8 classes.
Looks like you’re taking the hardest schedule you can! Two languages and two math classes are impressive. You can mention the AP Curriculum on your application and/ or take the AP test. If your chemistry class truly has an AP curriculum I would very strongly recommend you take the AP Chemistry test.
@schmonstar No at my school we don’t have block schedules lol. I have these classes everyday.
Huh.
Is it uncommon to have eight classes? In my district, all the high schools have eight to nine classes for everybody.
@SocialEinstein Looks good. Best of luck!
@wonderfulreads also in mine thats a common amount of classes. But thank you!
@SocialEinstein Dang. I have 4 classes in a day and they are 90 mins each with block scheduling.
