AP Psychology
Amount of HW each night: 1/2 hr-2hrs, not more than an hour most nights.
Difficulty: 2. The only thing I have to say is that it’s a ton of vocab., but if you’re good at memorizing (which helped me tons) then you should be fine.
Difficulty AP exam: I’d give it a 4, only because I had the class first semester though. It was fairly easy to me- I’m pretty sure I got a 5 on it.

AP Statistics
Amount of HW each night: Easily 1.5-2 hours.
Difficulty of class:10 (I had an AP stat teacher from hell- average grade in his class is a low C)
Difficulty of AP exam: 7. It was a lot easier than I had expected after having such a bad experience in class. I’m thinking I got a 3, possibly a 4 but probably not.

APUSH
Amount of HW each night: Some nights not even 1/2 an hour, some 2 maybe 3 hours. There is a ton of reading and flashcard making involved.
Difficulty of class: 7. It is challenging but I do love the course itself and my teacher is the best.
Difficulty of AP exam: 7. Again easier than I expected it to be. I’m thinking I got a solid 4 on this one.

AP Human Geo

Easiness: 4( during year it’s ok. near ap test, my teacher throw in a massive amount of test prep that brought down my grade a lot. Can’t deny the review was totally worth it because it covered a lot of concepts on the ap test itself).
If not for test prep I would have given easiness a 2.

AP exam: 5, Fairly easy, MCs were kinda of hard though.

[Class]: AP Bio
[Amount of HW each night] 1-3 Hours. Labs take a while to do (although they are easy), Tests/Quizzes were every week or every other week on 2-3 chapters and usually studied for the night before, and there was the occasional worksheet/packet
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 7
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 4. The new exam depends less on memorization, more on inference and interpretation. Open ended requires solid facts though.

[Class]: AP Language and Composition
[Amount of HW each night] Regular reading (40 pages every night) and a paper (usually rhetorical analysis) once or twice throughout the entire reading of the book. Aside from reading, it was the least demanding course.
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 5 (Grade depends on ability to write the proper AP essay, may take a while to assimilate)
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 8. Multiple Choice always tripped me up for some reason–teacher never practiced on that, but I was well prepared for essays.

[Class]: AP Calc AB
[Amount of HW each night] 1 hour at most (textbook problems or worksheets)
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 3
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 3.
**If you enjoy math like I did, especially the calculus portion of Precalculus, it’s not a very hard course. Just memorize formulas and know when to use them.

[Class]: AP Music Theory
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 2
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 10. That four part harmony… (got a 3)

[Amount of HW each night] we got no mandatory homework
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 8. Probably the hardest class I’ve taken in high school.
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 3. I was really over-prepared thanks to a great (but hard) teacher. (got a 5)

[Class]: AP English Language and Composition
[Amount of HW each night] Huuuuuuuge. This was easily the most time-consuming class I’ve taken in high school.
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 6. My teacher wasn’t particularly hard, but did keep you on your toes with pop quizzes, etc.
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 4. It just felt like a slightly harder SAT CR with actual essays and a few literary terms (got a 5).

[Class]: AP US History
[Amount of HW each night] not horrible, but fairly consistent assigned readings and some small projects
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 7. Tests were pretty hard and there weren’t that many cushion grades to save your grade.
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 7. Not that many questions were really hard, but I simply can’t retain an entire history curriculum in my mind for a single test (got a 4).

[Class]: AP Calculus BC
[Amount of HW each night] Moderate
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 7. Tests were not that easy and there was a definite time crunch factor.
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 2. This exam was a joke (got a 5)

[Class]: AP Physics C Mech
[Amount of HW each night] very little
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 5. Physics is one of my better subjects but I can definitely see how some of it can be tricky.
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 4. Fairly easy + MASSIVE curve (got a 5)

[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 6.
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 3. Is it just me or are the 2014 form O questions possibly the easiest of all of the released years? (confident about getting a 5)

[Class]: AP French
[Amount of HW each night] Lots of busywork in my class
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 4. There are definitely hard aspects but homework graded for completion, etc. really inflate the grades of students like me who aren’t that great at French.
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 8. Not my best subject (expecting a 3-4, really hoping for the latter).

[Class]: AP Computer Science A
[Amount of HW each night] fairly straightforward book work
[Difficulty of class 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 6. Tests were easy but some of the programming projects we did were kind of annoying.
[Difficulty of AP exam 1-easy, 10-very difficult] 6.5. It was OK, I ran out of time in the MC section (expecting a 4-5).

Class: AP Human Geography (with a good teacher)
Homework: Depends how fast you can read and comprehend. Mainly textbook work. Usually took me 2 hours. (I had homework every night, depends on the teacher. Usually better teachers give more homework).
Class difficulty: 5
AP exam: 4 (Pretty sure I got a 4 on the test also haha)

I was lucky enough to have a really good teacher and his class tests were harder than the AP exam. The class is just memorizing vocab and test questions are usually about the chapter. Sometimes they’re hard, sometimes easy. The easiest chapter was definitely the culture chapter, it starts getting harder by the end when you get into agriculture and urban geography but even that wasn’t too bad. If you want to take an easy AP, this is about as easy as you can get. I’d definitely recommend it!

AP Calc AB

Class difficulty: 5 ( but I’m very math oriented)

AP Euro

3
4

AP Calc BC
Like an hour of homework from textbook for each class
10
8.5

AP Lang
Writing exercises, essays, discussions.
7
5

AP US History
Nothing, just practice essays once a month
4
3

AP Environmental Science
Almost nothing, stupid busy work
3
7

AP World

Class: 4 out of 10, You just need to memorize general ideas and small details like names and specifics. Not complicated though. All we did was practice a few essays for the Ap test, take a quiz and test every week, sit through 1 lecture per week, busy work, and occasional activities and projects. Our teacher caved and curved a lot of our tests to help our grades. Little stress compared to math and science.

AP Test: Didn’t take it but heard it was way easier than expected.
