Rc

Okay, so I checked the yes box on the Residential College question. I think this might be a mistake--I'm not at all sure I want to do that. If I get in, does this mean I have to go there? Also, it's harder to get into the RC, if I don't get in there does that mean I don't get in at all? I'm just really confused about how all this works, if someone could explain it to me that would be great. Thank you.

hey, anyone? eh?

The RC is a non-competitive Michigan Learning Community. If you checked the box and you are admitted to LSA AND there is room in the RC class, then you will be admitted. HOWEVER, admission is non-binding,and you don't have to enroll in the RC.

I am in the RC, and there are things I like and dislike. USE THE PROGRAMS HERE AT UM FOR W/E YOU GET OUT OF THEM! When a program has exhausted its usefulness to you, DROP IT. I personally am using the RC for the sense of community (which is unparelleld), and for its MUCH revered language program. I don't really intended on staying in the RC after my language req. are finished. Now some people find that their needs are best suited by staying in the RC for 4 years...for those people, they stay. For me, I won't be staying.

Oh, these other questions. Checking the RC box does not make it more difficult to be admitted to lsa, and if you aren't admitted (the ONLY reason for this being that the RC class is full, which it likely isn't at this stage in the game), you can and will still be admitted to LSA.
