^ yep, same here. I’m not worried.

what do the letters SCEA stand for?

Single Choice Early Action; basically, you can’t apply anywhere else early.

I’m revitalizing this thread because I want to know if any admits got the packet today, so…did you? I heard someone in California say they got it…what’s in it, or should I just wait until I get it for myself?

Since they’re coming from California, I’m guessing west coasters will get theirs before the east coasters and other applicants. I live in North Carolina, and I didn’t get mine yet. :-/

yeah, east-coasters won’t get theirs till tomorrow or the next day. it takes some time to travel 2,000 miles out here in meatspace.

I hope to get mine tomorrow…
MAGNETS! ;)!

Does anyone know which courier Stanford sends acceptance packages with? I still haven’t received mine and I’m getting a bit worried…

^^You shouldn’t worry, I haven’t gotten mine either and I live in MN (are you on the East Coast?). They sent them out March 31st, but, again, I wouldn’t worry if you live in the Midwest or East Coast because they did say in the letter “admit packet…which you’ll receive in a few days”.

As for the courier, I think they used just regular USPS because if you watch this vid [Stanford admission rate is most competitive ever](<a href=“Stanford Report”>Stanford Report) the man carrying the boxes looks like he has a USPS shirt on. That vid was so surreal to watch! I’m going to Stanford!

Got mine today in midwest; no financial aid even. Mostly just info about admit weekend.

^Which state?

Missouri. (10 char)

Oh, okay, I’m guessing that might be a little bit “closer” than MN?

Haha perhaps, you’ll probably get it tomorrow.

^^Oh, yeah, it is, looking at a map, it’s almost exactly east of San Francisco while to get to Minnesota USPS must have to go diagonally (always slower than a straight line!) or through Iowa (blah, sorry, but I really don’t like Iowa)…haha, hopefully I’ll get it tomorrow. Anyway, are you going to Admit Weekend?

Also, Finaid (at least mine) is up on Axess. :D!

Ah, good reasoning; though strangely, mail usually takes a while to arrive for me from California. Yeah, I’m gonna go to Admit Weekend, though admittedly I have no idea what i’m doing! All the planning seems quite daunting, and i think I might just end up getting lost in San Jose :(.
Yeah, I know Finaid is up, but it would be nice to see the official letter :)

dpattzlover I live in Trinidad so I guess I’ll get mine quite a while after everyone else! sigh This is not helping to calm my anxiousness. Lol.

Lol, I am happy to be in, but it would just be so nice to see the big packet in my mailbox! Lol.

Mine came in today! I live in North Carolina, so hopefully that means everyone else will be getting their packets soon.

hmmm, that’s strange, but I’m guessing I’ll get it tomorrow.
