<p>I know some of you are anxious about whether Williams has your applications. My daughter was accepted in the Early Decision round and, if her experience is anything to go on, you should receive an actual notification from Williams that they have your application. </p>
<p>She sent in a paper application on Nov. 10th, which was the deadline date. Sometime around the 24th of Nov. (Thanksgiving week -- two weeks after she mailed the application), she received a postcard that said that Williams had received her application and would notify her if anything was missing. That was a good ten days after the arrival of the self-addressed postcards she'd put in the application envelopes and had her recommenders enclose with their letters. </p>
<p>Early Decision had FAR fewer applications than Regular Decision, so I think it will take some time to get things sorted out. It hasn't quite been three weeks. I'd give it a little more time and then call. What does your guidance counselor say?</p>
