RD Decision Thread

what other top schools are you waiting for?

shouldn't the trustee's scholarship trump your top schools?

Accepted!
SAT: 2310 (CR730 M780 W800)
GPA: 4.6 (something like it) ranked 2/705 as of 1st semester senior year
good public high school in IL
asian female (probably doesnt help)
excellent recs, extracurriculars mainly involve flute and music related stuff
trustee scholarship 27,500
im so happy about this, altho i didnt get an interview for ppsp, case is still one of my top choices!!!

Accepted!
SAT: 1560/2150(M800 CR760 W610)
GPA: 97/100
rank: 2/80ish
found out online today, now waiting for the letter

the thing is if i get into my top choice college i might not have to pay any tuition at all. It's because my top choice college is really selective and in korea i'm likely to get a four year full scholarship so no money realyl isn't the issue.

How long did you have to wait for your official letter with scholarship info in the mail after you saw your acceptance message online?

9 days for my son, but he recieved a "Likely Letter" two weeks before that.

I found out on a friday afternoon (online) and then got my letter the next day.

I checked the website daily so it couldnt have been B4

Its amazing how much $$$$ they give out

Ughhh im still in college limbo today. I checked my status and it says my application is still under review.

three kids from my school with 2100+ sat's, plenty of ecs, and top of class grades just got REJECTED from case. i still havent heard, did case get much harder to get into this year or something?

My son was accepted to Case as of last weekend and received notification of his financial aid package via the Briefcase system yesterday. An excellent package it was, too - only about $8,000 in loans.

He was top 1% in his class of ~170 at a rural Ohio school, 4.0 GPA, 33 ACT, superlative recommendations, and decent extracurriculars, FWIW.

so 8k in loans is good? because others said my 9k in loans was above average

Any Weatherhead applicants on this forum?

8k in loans is a heck of a lot to me! But I haven't gotten my financial aid offer. I'm hoping some scholarships come in for me and I won't have to use any need-based aid at all.

Well scholarships are part of your admit package...

if u know when will the results come out for international students?

Got the letter, $25,700 trustees. OOOOOOOHH YEEEAAA!!!

Woo hoo!!! I just found out I got in by checking online!!! :D Just waiting for the letter now..

I havent found any rhyme or reason to how case selects applicants. They're all over the place.

Is admission letter supposed to arrive in the same envelope with scholarship letter?

Have anyone received them separately?
