Has anyone heard a decision from Wakeforest yet?!?!

My son applied RD and has not heard yet.

I found out at the end of march last year ...

I'm thinking that my Wake acceptance came in the Saturday before April 1st (whatever that was in 2004). It was absolutely one of the last letters to make its way in.

Great... a longer wait..... I hope we get them before April 1st!!!

And don't immediately get freaked out if it's a small letter. I know that a lot of students assume that a big envelope is an acceptance and that a small envelope is a rejection. Unless they've changed since I was accepted, Wake just sends a letter at first. After you accept them, they'll start sending the packets of information.

Yeah, I just got a small letter when I was accepted. I thought that i forgot to submit something trivial like a photo or write my prospective major.

wait wait wait wait...... WHAT PHOTO????

im pretty positive the photo was optional. its a way to make the process more "human" and to "match peoples faces with the name" especailly if you talked to an admissions officer and they recognize you

i used the common app and never even heard of that

I never sent in a photo with my app and I got in ...

It's not required.

the admissions office told me today that the "target date" for mailing admission decisions is this Friday, March 22. it sounded like they may not make their target date though.

Martha Allman told my friends mom that they would be mailed out Friday.
